Morning : Catch a train, try “the legendary” crab and red noodle in Haiphong.

Haiphong offers an excellent transport infrastructure which is very convenient to get around. There are few different ways to get here such as: car, trains or by air into Hai Phong airport with daily connections. But if you come from Hanoi or satellite provinces like Hai Duong then it’s easiest to go by train, you can get tickets at counter or online at

The earliest train will depart at 5.50am from Hanoi station and arrive at Haiphong station at 9am, this is perfect timing for you to enjoy the most popular “Crab and red noodles soup” in Cau Dat street, it only takes 7 minutes to walk here.

In order to connect Hanoi with Haiphong, a long railway 102km was being built to linking 2 cities by the French. In 1902, the route was officially launched and came along with Haiphong train station. Haiphong railway station is quite beautiful and still retains its ancient features.
